NYWC President Marilyn Bliss will give a presentation in honor of Women's History Month at the Juilliard School, New York.
She will talk about her experiences as a female composer, the New York Women Composers organization and history and activities, and their diverse membership, and why identity-centered organizations are positive and important. She will also discuss some of the experiences she has had traveling abroad, and the importance of being a cultural ambassador. A segment of the video of the concert where her music was performed last November in Armenia will be played at the end of the session.
